A lactation consultant is a trained health professional who supports parents with infant feeding, especially breastfeeding/chestfeeding. At Haven, our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) provide gentle, evidence-based support with latching, milk supply, feeding techniques, and more—always tailored to your family’s needs.

Any time you have questions or concerns—before birth, in the early days, or even months down the road. We commonly help with:
Latching or positioning issues
Milk supply concerns (low or oversupply)
Nipple pain or damage
Baby’s weight gain
Pumping or returning to work
Introducing a bottle or weaning
Early support can make a big difference - the sooner the better.
-
Not at all. We support all feeding choices—breast, bottle, pumping, donor milk, or mixed feeding. Our goal is to help you feel confident, respected, and informed, no matter what your feeding journey looks like.

Each session is personalised and nurturing. You can expect:
A calm discussion of your feeding goals and challenges
